SHUT UP

I was hoping it wasn't true but sadly it was... dum dum dum...Harry Derbidge of The Only Way is Essex ( or Amy Child's flamboyant cousin if you weren't clued up) is leaving the ITV2 show.

Best known for his dancing, his erm shall we say witty comments and sweet personality, Harry had the essex catch phrase 'Shut up' to a T. I guess it was only a matter of time, after many of the original cast members have paved the way and begun the road of vajazzle- free success.

Harry is aptly in panto currently and we're all eager to see what he'll be getting up to next. Will he follow in his cousin Amy's stiletto's and star in his own fly on the wall series? Perhaps he'll be making his debut in a celebrity reality show after Mark Wright and Kirk Norcross's recent stints? Whatever it is, I wish him all the success in the world.

I will admit I was slightly bemused at the rest of the casts reactions... it was almost like someone had died. Harry tweeted to @nannypat_carol  "mum was very upset carol but we are getting strong and looking forward to the year. Love you xxx" Ohhhh errrr!

As understandly upsetting this is LOL, I'm pleased to say my favourite cast member Arg is staying put for another series at least! Phew! Oh AND Maria will be leaving us but that's ok because Kirk say's she's just an extra after all. O M G, I cannot believe i just said that. I can't wait to see all the newbies next series!

Blue Ivy

No, this isn't a new and undiscovered plant that's gone unoticed, Blue Ivy is the new arrival of the most powerful music couple ever... Beyonce Knowles and Jay- Z.

A lot of us were fooled shortly before christmas that Beyonce had already given birth, and with no sightings you couldn't be blamed for believing. Back then we had been told this little bundle of joy had been named Tiana May Carter, which I quite liked, my sister on the other hand was not best pleased with Beyonce as apparently she'd picked this name time and time ago.

I love Beyonce and I love Jay- Z but i DO NOT love the name Blue Ivy, for me it personally sounds like the new party drug or like a sexual disease, as this weekend i was shown a vile picture titled 'blue waffle.' I beg you not to google 'blue waffle,' nah seriously, DO NOT google 'blue waffle.'


As a child born into a world of celebritism it's fine to have a name like this...  but if you're a normal person you just look like a twat. I'm thinking to call my children something kitch too, something catchy yet healthy. I might name my girl Banana Rainbow and first boy will be Green Thai... although I worringly just came up with these names, I actually bet there's children named this already.


Anyways, I'm just waiting for a glimpse of Blue Ivy.

Babes in the hood

The babes are back! The original and the greatest! Hopefully they'll go back to the music they made in the beginning instead of trying to be some sexy so and so's like the current girlies. Although I can't deny that I like the new sugababes, i'm interested to see the return of Keisha, Siobhan and Mutya. The girls have all gone on to do solo work with flacky results but there's one thing that can be said: Those girls have some serious personalities.

Peaches and Cream

Peaches Geldof has announced her pregnancy which oddly neither shocks or excites me!

I mean, I expected divorce when she married some hippy not long ago, I totally believed drug fuelled antics and laughed at supposed shop lifting but this news scares me, because I think at the ripe age of 22 years, she'll grow up and go on to be a good mother. Peaches has the kind of life style and money a foetus could only dream of, so it's not like she'll be running out of nappies anytime soon.

She's also in a relationship and has the support of both sides of the family (Well with a daddy like Bob Geldof, there was bound to be amples of support.)


Now what I'm worried about is what this might do for her career... and some of you may laugh "What career?" Well if like me you know ridicoulous celebrity facts and biographies you'd have seen her presenting and modelling since she was a spritely 16 year old but recently her ITV2 show 'OMG' was canned and the only think we were talking about was her sudden and extreme weight loss.

Having a baby is going to give her many opportunites: You've got the Demi Moore pregnancy recreation photoshoot (likely to be in Closer magazine) and then there's the 'I've had a baby 2 days ago but fit into my size 6 bikini' DVD, or perhaps the baby mama self help book or baby clothing range. The opportunities are endless!

What really matters though, is that she changes her wild child ways! Peaches is only a few months younger than myself but i know I'm not ready to change my wild ways, I guess I'll be getting up to mischief for the both of us.... Congratulations Peaches!!!

... new year, new me???

As the saying goes really. Is this year going to see me re- invent myself? errrr Nah because I think I'm pretty cool the way I am but if you ask is there anything I can do to improve myself, well yeah I could write you a list.

Unbelieveable we are 2 weeks into 2011 and I have made it my mission to fix myself up, this includes: Losing weight, earning a higher salary and socialising with some of those amazing people I've met over the years that I perhaps don't see as often or lost touch with.


The diet or shall I put it in a less daunting way, the healthy eating began on Monday and was going pretty well until today because thanks to a little lady known as Kirsty Woods (who showed me a good time last night with copius amounts of booze) I am having to switch from my new soup and smoothie regiment to a more flexible menu or Frazzles, a Creme Egg and Supernoodles (maybe the SOUPernoodles can't count as soup as I did put lots of water in, brings back memories of how my nan used to make them for me) but I've been visiting the gym so I may possibly go for 2 hours today.









Oh yes, I have decided this year to have a more confident approach with men, and giving them a chance is where I should begin. I want to be like what's her name out of Sex & The City, Samantha? Well not as liberal, I'm no shlaaaaaag. But I would like to date more than I'm used to because let's face it I'm not used to it. My only date has been to a stripclub, which I will admit was pretty funny and really tempting to get involved. Apparently there's a 'No Dancing' policy for the non stripping ladies.. "Afraid I'm going to show you up?" So it would be nice to have a fella in the coming months but it will be extremely odd, I'm so used to being single and I'm not one of those people that can't stand being left on the shelf, if anything I'm wondering how am I going to fit a man into my already bustling life?



More about my bustling life and what I'd like to achieve by 2012... oh my gosh, olympics next year! Well last year I didn't manage to get my sought after media job but ever the optimist I've found a few opportunities already to do with tv presenting, so I'll keep you posted about them. On Saturday I'm going to a Kiss Fm open audition to be the next radio presenter, how hilarious do you think that would be? I'd actually love it: Telling my bizairre tales, sharing my dilemma's, listening to music 24/7 and just talking. Wish me luck!





You should know that I'm a bit of a raver, clubbing expert, IT girl, so I will as ever be visiting alot of new clubs. I visited Yoyo (notting hill arts club) last week and it was amazing. Such a different crowd, there were indie kids, hip hop americano's, music heads, grime lovers and the arty farties but it's effortlessly cool atmosphere, simplistic and basic interior you know what you're getting yourself into. There were no false pretences, worries that we wouldn't be allowed inside, instead there was an intimate space, bar serving red stripe and everything upwards, entertaining performance and crowd pleasing rapper (who i may one day inform you of his name when i can find it argh!) and amazing dubstep, reggae, hip hop, garage and funky house. I will be going there alot more this year.


I will love and leave you know as I have other important things to take care of (ohhh that sounds like I'm off to bump someone off hahaha)

SHOCK X- FACTOR EXITS....

well well well, can you Adam & Eve it? Now the last few weeks of watching X-Factor have brought me nothing but frustration. Reason being that the Weasel otherwise known as Katie Wassiel was still in the competition.

And as much as I was shocked and full of dismay that the judges were keeping the singer in (in my opinion to gain more media focus) other fans were more shocked that Wagner was still in the show.

So as much as I disliked Katie I was very suprised she had finally been kicked off. Amen!! Finally because it had gone to Deadlock, we were rid of her. Then came the second dismissal...... *booming x-factor voice* "WAGNER." Now i know as much as the next person that Wagner was not the best singer in the competition but he was a loveable rogue, full of charm and passion. He will be forever missed, but what does Wagner have to say about his X-factor exit?

Wagner blamed the badly chosen songs on his exit, saying :“The songs that can really show my voice like La Fortuna and The Wonder Of You and Creep, I sang them well because I can connect with the emotion. Songs like She Bangs, I can’t feel that.”

Can I end on HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA and you cut your hair for nothing, new you? pssssst don't make me laugh more. As for Wagner, I don't think we've seen the last of him, in the form of comical Saturday evening television, there is his secret love child with Mary.... WAAAAGGGGBBBOOOOOOOO!

Lynx Allnighter

The next cracking music event I managed to bag a ticket to was the first ever Lynx Allnigter. I can't even remember where i won these tickets but it was to be held at Alexander Palace and the point of the night (a mental halloween rave starting from 9pm-6am) me and my sister proudly stayed at the venue until 4am and thats pretty darn good considering we didn't move from the front row once. we were bang straight in the centre with the most perfect view.

As this was actually a month today I'll have to think back to the memorable bits and bobs.

Ms.Dynamite launched her hot comeback and kicked off the night in style, it was really nice to see her perform her old school songs taking me, my sister and the other ladies we'd chatted to back to our younger days.

We got a lovely little wave from her, think she appreciated the mad response. Then next up we had amazing sets from DJ Shortie Blitz and I really liked the Audio Bullies dj set. There were quite long dj sets inbetween but i was still pumping out those classic dance moves, i swear i did not waver and because of this i was on the big screen a few times.

Professor Greens set did not dissapoint.. even if he came out half drunk, or was asleep in a wheelchair with backing track playing (i think i'd still be satisfied lol). He came out with I'm guessing alot of his Hackney mandems because they look like they relished in the stage antics, throwing £20 notes all other the gaff... before quickly taking them back and probably handed back to a stern Pro Green after. But basically he put his all into every performance and if i recall i did get a smile from him (well i should think so).

Now I wasn't at all bothered about seeing the pint sized and current I'm a celeb get me out of here Aggro Santos but he proved himself to be quite the entertainer, he also looked very dapper in suit and shades. I was also shocked to realise just how many of the words to his songs that I knew. I shouted at him to take his glasses off which he later did and his albums sounds like its a good mix of reggaeton, funky and hip hop. I must mentioned that me and my sister got a cheeky air kiss as we hollered that we LOVE aggro santos.

It was a major gap after Aggro finished but i was determined to see Roll Deep and after sara gave up in search of a pew, I kept busy by dancing away to myself. I think Roll Deep were worth the wait. It's the second I've seen them (mobo awards) and although a low budget set, they still put all their energy into it :)
